A culture of giving

12 December 2017

This Thanksgiving, Focus was grateful to our employees and the company culture we’ve created together.

To celebrate the holiday, Focus team members gathered at the corporate office and our project sites for our annual Thanksgiving Potluck, where employees shared dishes special to their families and traditional to their heritage. The spread featured traditional holiday fixings like cornbread dressing, as well as homemade hummus and baba ghanoush.

After breaking for the holiday, the Focus team reconvened for Giving Tuesday. This year, with the help of the organization - Soldiers Angels, Focus stuffed stockings for the troops. Team members donated enough for 30 oversized stockings, stuffed with everything from holiday treats to warm winter hats. Each stocking also included a personal note from the Focus team member with words of thanks and well wishes. The stockings will be delivered to troops at the Jesse Brown VA Center in Chicago’s 27th Ward.
