Christine Kolb joined Focus in 2013 as development manager. Her first project was to manage development and design of a 239-unit, class-A luxury apartment project in Glenview, Illinois. Her responsibilities on the Reserve at Glenview project include execution of a triple-net land lease and collaboration with the village to complete entitlements, planned development approval and the construction permit process. As part of the development team at Focus, Christine supports the pursuit and review of potential projects.
Before joining Focus, Christine worked for four years as the community outreach director at the Urban Land Institute Chicago (ULI Chicago). In this role, she served as a liaison between the public sector and the private development industry, and managed advisory services in communities throughout the region on topics including: commercial retail viability, housing development, land use strategies and historic preservation.
Christine also represents Focus as a member of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) Housing Committee. She received a master’s degree in public policy with a concentration in urban economics from the University of Chicago and a bachelor of arts in ethnic studies and political science from the University of Oregon.
