Parking Garage Completed for the Atworth at Mellody Farm

The parking garage, with its 293 spots, is an important milestone because the remaining three-story apartment building will be wrapped around the precast panel garage. The site in Vernon Hills, named The Atworth, will be the future home of 260 luxury apartments and will be situated next to Regency Center’s Mellody Farm shopping center, featuring retail anchors like Whole Foods, REI and Nordstrom Rack. The Focus construction team plans to finish pouring the residential foundation this week and will begin work on the slab of first phase of the apartment building. July marks the third month of construction in Vernon Hills with an estimated first occupancy in July of next year.
