The Focus professional construction team was joined by key stakeholders, tradesmen, and project leaders to celebrate the topping-off of our Vernon Hills project, The Atworth at Mellody Farm.
The 7-acre residential project at the corner of Townline and Milwaukee broke ground in April of last year and has since zoomed towards completion. Led by Focus Superintendent David Beane, Project Manager Eric Johnson, and Development Manager Vicky Lee – The Atworth, when complete, will be the first new residential development of this scale in Vernon Hills in recent history. The wrap-style building will offer 260 luxury apartments with high quality finishes, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and in-unit washer and dryers, wrapped around a large outdoor courtyard featuring a full array of amenities including an outdoor swimming pool and fitness studio. The Atworth will be situated within the larger Mellody Farm community. Led by Regency Center, the retail component is currently under construction and will include a spectrum of dining and shopping options, with tenants like Whole Foods, Nordstrom Rack and REI already onboard.
“We are proud of the work done by the tradesmen and women of the Mellody Fam team,” said Focus Vice President of Construction Josh Stark, “This project has been moving quickly and safely towards completion and that is due to the amazing team onsite. We are excited to celebrate this milestone of topping-off and are eager to turn over this great addition to the Vernon Hills community.”
The Atworth at Mellody Farm is expected to be complete in the summer of 2018. To learn more about the project and to inquire about leasing availability go to http://theatworth.com/
